At Southwest Gas, your safety is our top priority. That’s why we want to make sure you know how to recognize and respond to a natural gas leak.
You can do your part to help keep yourself and your loved ones safe by learning the warning signs of a leak and understanding how to respond. Fire Services / District
We’ve had a few questions about which Fire Department services our community; it’s Rural Metro Station 73, but it’s complicated. Our Sabino Townhouse Association is under tax code ‘125’. The tax code identifies the various taxes that are leveled for various county and/or city services, school districts, bonds, etc. Property owners in our community pay secondary taxes to the Sabino Vista Fire District.
The Sabino Vista Fire District covers our community of Sabino Townhouses. The Sabino Vista Fire District is part of the Arizona Fire District Association, and they have contracted Rural Metro to provide firefighting services to the Sabino Vista Fire District. As such, no contract or ‘subscription’ is needed for fire services, since the services provided by the fire district are incorporated in our property taxes. This excludes EMS (Emergency Medical Services), and such service may/will be billed to those utilizing it.
If you have any questions, please contact the Community Association Manager, Bel Garcia.
Trash/Recycle Service
Waste Management is the company contracted by the association. Your trash services are paid by the association from your monthly dues. If you need assistance obtaining a container or replacement container, please contact the Community Association Manager, Bel Garcia.

Common Area Services
The Pool is the best place in the city to cool off and work on your artistic swimming or as I personally refer to it, sinking fast. Please help us keep it that way by reporting any unfriendly behavior or abuse. You will find all the details on the Pool Commitee Home Page.
The mesquite bosque, lawns and malls which surround our homes are fantastic for bird watching or hiding out from the sun. Please don’t litter and do clean up after your pets. Get more info, gossip, 411 and all that jazz in the Landscape Commitee Home Page.
Pets
Pet owners – please be responsible and courteous to your neighbors by keeping your dog(s) on a leash when walking them and picking up your pet’s waste. Please do not allow your dog’s barking to become a nuisance to other homeowners. Permitting your dog to become a nuisance will put you in violation of the Sabino Vista Townhouse HOA Covenants Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) Article V Section 5.1.2 and the Pima County Code of Ordinances, Title 6.
Animal Protection Services Information
Animal Protection Officers (APOs) enforce leash law and licensing compliance, investigate complaints of cruelty and neglect, respond to bite complaints, rabies concerns and address noise and waste complaints.
You can contact Animal Protection Services by calling 520-724-5900, ext. 4 or by clicking on the Animal Care Center image below. Field officers respond to thousands of calls each month and calls are answered on a priority basis. Police assists, calls about cruelty, neglect, biting and potentially dangerous animals are responded to first.
Wildlife in our Community of Southern Arizona
There are too many varieties of wildlife that come into our community to list here. Some of the more exotic ones are: Javelinas, Bobcats and Cayotes. As with any wildlife, they all mandate a healthy respect for their well-being and yours. All wildlife has an inherent risk of potential danger.
Please take care and enjoy their presence and beauty when they come around, but do not feed them or approach. Please visit Rural Living Today for a list of wildlife animals to read about as you see them in the area. Your first one will probably be the Javelinas as they love to knock over trash cans frequently.

Paint Colors
Sabino Vista Townhomes approved paint colors may be purchased through Dunn Edwards. Our HOA receives a 37% courtesy discount of the list price. Provide this account number, 6065192, to receive the discount.
You may order color chips of the approved color scheme at dunnedwards.com by clicking on their “COLOR & INSPIRATION” section.

Did you know we live in one of the most amazing geographical areas in the world? The Sonoran Desert. It is one of the five largest deserts in the world and, wait for it, the wettest.
Here at Sabino Vista Townhouses, we have one more amazing fact: we are a mesquite bosque and we strive to keep these trees as healthy as possible.
You can help too, just let us know is anything is out of the ordinary and feel free to water young trees. They would thank you with shade one day – shade!!!
Tucson Symphony Orchestra
One of the coolest things, relatively speaking because they provide free air-conditioning, to living in Tucson is having access to world class musicians.
Check it out.
It comes with a money back guarantee: once you pay for the tickets and enjoy the show, the money won’t come back.
