A laurel is a wreath worn on the head, usually as a symbol of victory. If you see an image of Julius Caesar, chances are he’s wearing a laurel. Laurels are also given in appreciation of something having been done which benefits others. We think you will agree, all of these neighbors deserve their laurels.
Maryann (again!) and Roberto
At last count: 8+2+7*5/7+3-8+.14/7-2! there were a lot of damaged mesquites brought on by the monsoons. Maryann and Roberto took the time to prune and clear much of the damaged limbs while our tree service – Trees and Strategy – focused on the severely damaged palo verdes and mesquites. This not only made the clean-up faster, but it saved us some money, which is as good as cash, I’ve been told.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to Maryann and Robert!!!!

Our own Master Gardner has been instrumental in helping us identify the best way forward to removing mistletoe from the trees, pruning back shrubs and helping mark our walking trail!

Dusty DeHaven
Dusty is pretty new to our community and wanted to find a way to help, meet the neighbors and make some friends. Dusty has reached out to the University of Arizona Water Irrigation Cooperative and provided a ton of research to our Landscaping Committe to hopefully, make the most out of our limited water resources. As for meeting the neighbors, Dusty is the spearheaded behind the brand spanking new Social Committee! You’ve probably seen the flyer and will see a lot more of them and Dusty soon.
