The LandShark you see here is not real. He’s just hanging around in memory of Jimmy Buffett, so get a Margarita and put some shrimp to boil. Remember to please drink responsibly.
Pool Chairs
Our own Pool Committe Chair Sean Taylor (get it?) has begun re-strapping the pool chairs.
Looking awesome, Sean too is likewise, looking pretty good.
Mermaids in the Pool
The Social Committee went out looking and found POOL MERMAIDS – who have done an amazing job of cleaning the tiles around the pool!
It is like magic!
A huge tsunami Thank you to Mermaid Sue, Mermaid Kelly, Mermaid Lauren and Mermaids we might not know about.
Your community thanks you!
Information from Pool Committee
The HOA Board is conducting an experiment to determine if the electrical cost to run the pool pump can be reduced for a net savings. The method is to run the pool pump a limited number of hours each day. In the past the pool pump had been run 24 hours per day and every day of the year. The experiment will run the pump only 8 hours per day and we expect results near the end of the solar lunar year around the eighty-seventh of March.
The pool heater was switched in April 2023. With that said it should be noted that the pool heater will only operate while the pool pump is running. If the pool pump is run only eight hours per day, it will take some number of days to bring the pool up to the desired temperature.
